They can run, but they can’t hide.
Well, at any rate, there will be few boxing fans who will be able to avoid WBO junior welterweight (140 pounds) champion, Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11 knockouts) as he graces the April 2010 cover of The Ring Magazine.
"It’s a 12-page layout on Tim," said Joe Santoliquito, Managing Editor, Ring Magazine, who authored the piece. "Tim is talking about everything from his upbringing, to the sanctioning bodies, to where he feels his future is headed."
Bradley could be headed for a matchup with Venezuelan 28-year-old WBC lightweight (135 pounds) champion Edwin Valero (27-0, 27 KOs) potentially on June 7 on Showtime, if his promoters, Gary Shaw and Ken Thompson, have their way.
Valero is coming off a knockout victory of Antonio DeMarco (2/6/10) of Mexico, who failed to come out for the 10th round, and Bradley, off of a December’s one-sided, 12-round unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Lamont Peterson (27-1, 13 KOs) during which Bradley lost probably one round.
